I just jail broke my iPhone 4 on IOS 7 and it was so easy im going to help you do the same thing as me 
step 1 download evasion from online
step 2 plug iPhone in to the laptop or computer 
step 3 follow the instructions 
 step 4 when its stops keep phone plugged in and took on your phone for a app called evasion
step 5 run app whilst your phone is still in the computer or laptop 
step 6 have fun having a jail broken phone IOS 7

    On step 4 did you mean took on your phone or look on your phone??
